My family and I loved our Kayak + Guided Snorkel & Morning Sail! It’s been the highlight of our trip to Key West so far. I highly recommend this trip for families with young kids. We saw an abundance of wildlife, including a sea turtle, bottlenose dolphins, and tons of colorful fish and birds. It was truly magical. Snorkeling and kayaking with our quide Charlie and Captain ??Libby??. Fantastic experience, great snacks, clear instructions, the crew points out wildlife and explains about the wildlife and history of the area we were at. Very comfortable boat ride to the areas. With so many tours to choose from, we chose Honest Eco because their tours are led by actual biologists and they take out small groups rather than packing 60 people onto a boat. It was an awesome decision. ​Our guide, Charlie, actually got in the water and snorkeled with us. He offered assistance to anyone who needed it while pointing out all the wildlife around us. This was the first time I’ve ever had a guide snorkel with the group, and having someone with an eagle eye show us what to look for made such a huge difference. We saw sea turtles, a shark, and so many different types of fish! ​The kayaking portion was also fantastic—paddling into a hurricane hole in the mangroves was a very cool experience. We did the snorkel and kayak trip and it was great. Captain Dan and Marine Biologist Claire did a great job with everything. Claire pointed out all sorts of wildlife while kayaking through the mangrove, tunnels and snorkeling on the reef.  Fresh cut fruit and veggies are a nice touch. Kayaking and snorkeling in Key West I’m so glad we went on this tour! Captain Charlie was full of knowledge, friendly yet professional. He was in the water the whole time with us, showing us all the cool things and making sure we were comfortable. We saw a nurse shark, sting ray, tarpons, and lots of smaller fish. Went on the kayak/snorkel trip guided by Savannah and Andrew and had an amazing time! They were super fun and knowledgeable, we learned a lot about the ecological importance of the mangrove keys and saw tons of amazing birds, fish, and coral. We even saw a stingray and were visited by a pod of dolphins on our way back. They played great music and gave us healthy/hydrating snacks between activities. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My boys, Lukas and Mateo, attended SQUID KIDS Camp this summer, and they had an incredible week. Every day brought a new adventure, from beach days and waterfront activities to kayaking, snorkeling, swimming, fishing, and boating. Their favorite day was the catamaran trip, where they spent the day on the water kayaking, snorkeling, swimming, and making memories with an amazing crew. What impressed me most as a parent was how well the camp was run. Jenny and her team created a fun, relaxed environment that gave kids the freedom to explore and play while still feeling safe and supported. She always had a wonderful group of helpers, including experienced teachers, and it showed. I was especially amazed at how well kids of different ages connected throughout the week. There were younger and older kids, boys and girls, yet everyone seemed to get along naturally. The atmosphere felt calm, inclusive, and genuinely enjoyable rather than chaotic. My boys came home every day excited, happy, and full of stories. It is clear that Jenny puts her heart into creating meaningful experiences that help kids connect with nature, the ocean, and each other. If you’re looking for a summer camp that gets kids outdoors, off screens, and making unforgettable memories in Key West, I highly recommend SQUID KIDS Camp. Sav was an excellent guide and Andrew was perfect Captain for our large family group ranging in ages 12-72. We did the Kayak snorkeling tour. Both Sav and Andrew were knowledgeable and great with kids and adults alike. Perfect Key West on the water day! The catamaran was very comfortable. We had ample space, shade, and easy access to fresh cold water, yummy fresh healthy snacks and restroom facilities. The Honest Eco team members were excellent. Captain Dan and our guide Charlie were both professional, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and fun. The small group size, there were 15 of us, was ideal for personal service. The activities were amazing. Our snorkel gear worked perfectly and the explanation of how to use was simple and complete. The location for the snorkel, along the reef was perfect as we saw much plant and fish life including big nurse sharks, stingrays, tarpons, goliath hogfish, and we even enjoyed a leisurely swim with a giant loggerhead turtle. And I know all this info because our excellent guide, Charlie was right there in the water with us sharing info and pointing out the sights. Then we kayaked into some very cool mangroves, again with our guide sharing stories and knowledge. It was fun and learning and of course beautiful out on the water going to the Wildlife Preserve. My husband and I recently participated in the Kayak + Guided Snorkel & Morning Sail.  It was a great experience, and I would recommend it to all nature enthusiasts.  The boat was gorgeous, the snacks were great, and the group size was ideal.  Captain Libby and Charlie, the biologist, were friendly, funny, and knowledgeable.  We saw many interesting animals while snorkeling and kayaking, and the amount of time for each activity was perfect. Best day ever!!! Honest Eco is the best! This was my fourth time on a trip with them, and this time I did the Kayak + Snorkel trip. 5 stars!!! I've left reviews before so I'm not sure if the platform will let me submit this. Captain Andrew and First Mate Sav led an amazing trip. What a cool crew. I appreciated learning where we were, having visual aids, great music and the fresh trays of fruit and vegetables! Everything felt seamless from getting in the kayaks to snorkeling. I could write a few paragraphs, but I will say we saw a yellow spotted sea slug, three stingrays, a huge Loggerhead sea turtle, a great barracuda, giant tarpon fish, Angel fish and more. Key West at its best, ON THE WATER with my kind of people. Of all the charters and excursions we saw while out on the water, HonestEco was the quaintest by far. If you want standing room only and a party atmosphere, this is not your tour. But It’s exactly the experience we were looking for. We are glad we booked it. The kayaking was great, and the snorkeling at the reef was amazing. Had the weather been nicer the very next day, we would have booked to go again. Key west is best out on the water! Our hosts, Alexa and Claire, were amazing. We appreciated an all female crew (pure luck, by chance) and their knowledge. The snorkel gear was acceptable as well. What did we see? Birds (all of them), turtles, sharks, lobster, every single reef fish, and other excursion boats throwing pool noodles at people as they jumped in the water (yuck). All aspects of the excursion were excellent! I will definitely use Honest Eco again should the opportunity arise! We had an incredible time on this excursion! The crew was extremely knowledgeable, experienced and helpful. My girlfriend and I were newbies at snorkeling and the thorough instruction of how to use the equipment and the safety protocols put us at ease and made snorkeling a fun-filled, incredible experience! I want to give Charlie a special shout-out as he provided special support to my girlfriend (who was particularly nervous) to make sure she was comfortable and doing well. I highly recommend the "Kayak + Guided Snorkel & Morning Sail" excursion as top-tier. I would imagine all of the Honest Eco Tours are excellent! We would definitely book more excursions through them! Capt. Alexa with Mates Heather and Sarah led us on an amazing adventure kayaking the mangroves and snorkeling on the reef.  The ladies were so professional and knowledgeable about all that we did and saw.  I felt completely at ease on this trip. We saw so many fish, turtles, and birds.  There was ice cold water and wonderful fresh snacks on the trip. My husband and I are in our mid-60s and had no problem with kayaking or snorkeling. A delightful snorkeling adventure Our afternoon to evening sail with snorkeling was just right ... Plenty of guidance and information, but not too much, keeping things light, friendly, and fun. All of the gear was clean and worked well. Windy conditions prevented standing on a sandbar or kayaking, so we got extra time snorkeling, and the biological preserve didn't disappoint with plentiful marine life. A Must-Do in Key West! My mom, sister, and I had the most amazing time hanging out with Brian and Dan today on the guided kayak/snorkel trip. Not only did we see amazing views and wildlife but our guides were incredibly knowledgeable and fun! They were so excited to share tons of info and show their love for the ecosystems surrounding Key West. They scoped out the coolest spots for us to kayak through (literally through!) the mangroves and the snorkeling location was absolutely amazing! We even got to see Dolphins on the way back to town which wasn’t even planned for our excursion. If you are looking for a friendly, family-owned team to take you out on the water in the Keys, whether it’s the snorkel, dolphin tour or sunset cruise, please use Honest Eco! Great dolphin watching and snorkeling trip Had a great time on the kayak and snorkel trip this afternoon. The crew was very professional and knowledgeable. We saw plenty of dolphin- some even swimming up near the boat. Snorkeling was very chilly to me, but the bigger men seemed to not be bothered by the 72 degree water. No problem- they had plenty of wetsuits on hand so I was as comfortable as possible. Bryan was great in finding cool sea creatures to show the group. On the trip back to shore, we even happened upon a hammer head shark!!! We got to follow him around for a bit. It was nice to have a smaller group on board- just 9, not including the crew. We had an fantastic time and would definitely go again We had an absolutely amazing morning with Alexa and Jackie exploring the edge of a mangrove island and then snorkeling on the sponge "reef"! They are incredibly knowledgeable about the environment, and we learned so much about the keys ecosystem. Plus, they are just kind, energetic people and heart and even most of Jackie's jokes were funny:) Our biggest challenge for them was finding a way to get Lauren into the kayaks, wetsuit and snorkel equipment because she has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair. No worries, though! They rose to the occasion and made sure everyone in our group had a great trip. A Day To Rember! What an amazing experience. The mangroves that we travelled to were way offshore and as pristine as it gets. Our captain, Alexa got us there through a maze of sandbars and got us within kayaking distance. That is when our naturalist guide/biologist Jacki took over and describe the incredible wildlife we were sharing the mangroves with. Including the small sharks swimming around our kayaks. Afterwards we jumped in and had an amazing snorkel around the garden of sponges filled with all sorts of fish life. On our way back Captain Alexa set sail while we watched for dplphins all the way back home to Key West. Certainly a day on the water we will all remember for a long time to come.

A great way to see nature around Key West Our family had a great experience on the Honest Eco "Kayak + Guided Snorkel & Morning Sail." While the snorkeling was a bit underwhelming on our particular trip due to recent storms, it was amazing while out kayaking to see dolphins, a sea turtle, pelicans, frigate birds, an iguana, and upside-down jellyfish by the mangroves. Adventure from the Reef to the Mangroves My wife and I went on a morning tour that included snorkeling around the reef and kayaking in the mangroves. We were guided by Captain Dan and First Mate Heather. They were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable, sharing stories about the waters we were in and facts about the history and sea life we were encountering. The crew was fantastic and made the excursion so much fun. The boat was in great condition and immaculately kept. The adventure they set up for us was a lot of fun and kept us going and engaged throughout. The reef was loaded with beautiful colorful fish. The mangroves were full of life with everything from Pelicans to Nurse Sharks swimming in and out of the mangroves.The adventure was a welcome change from all the bars and restaurants that Key West is known for. Very enjoyable! We enjoyed our experience on the morning kayak & snorkle. The weather was great and the team was very good at their jobs. I had never been kayaking before, and I was very nervous. They made it easy and enjoyable! After kayaking thru the mangroves, we snorkled and enjoyed that very much as well. The snacks were fresh, healthy and very tasty! We highly recommend this kayak and snorkle trip out of Key West with Honest Eco tours.My ONLY complaint is this: Telling people to arrive 30 min prior to boarding is unnecessary. Had a really fun afternoon boat tour where we saw dolphins and snorkeled. Brian and Wade were excellent guides. I had booked a tour involving kayaking in the mangroves (in addition to snorkeling) and they cancelled the kayak portion due to wind. The company communicated with me promptly and gave me the option to back out if the lack or kayak was a dealbreaker for me. They also refunded me the difference in price between the more expensive kayak trip and the more basic trip. The snorkel equipment was quality, and I really appreciated the wet suit and floatation band to make it easier. My friend and I had a wonderful time on the ECO tour. I live in Key West and I feel like I'm so glad I discovered this option for getting out on the water. We really appreciated the knowledge of the crew on the wildlife, as well as the sustainable materials used for lunch and snacks.  They serve all organic foods from Date and Thyme! Did a 4 hour snorkel and dolphin watch with Captain Eric and First Mate Brian on Squid. They are fantastic. Incredibly friendly, fun, and so knowledgeable about everything about the boat (electric, I believe the only electric boat tour company in Key West!) but also about the reefs, snorkeling, dolphins-they know them by markings and have names! No plastic, all of the food served was on real plates, no plastic cups or silverware. This company lives up to their name....hyper focused on being environmentally friendly and providing a fabulous time!!! We saw a bunch of dolphins, tons of fish and other sea life. Brian snorkeled with us and pointed to everything he saw to make sure no one missed a lobster, fish, conch, you name it! Loved to hear about Captain Eric's 30+ years working on boats in Key West and elsewhere was incredible to hear about. 5 stars! My family booked the 6-hour dolphin watching, snorkeling, and kayaking tour with Honest Eco on 12/27. Captain Jesse and Corbin were super friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The group on the boat was small (us and 3 other families) which really made the experience enjoyable. Yeti water bottles, freshly cut fruit, and a delicious organic and locally made vegetarian (with a ton of vegan options) lunch were all provided. We were one of the only boats that day to see dolphins and we got some great up-close views of a mom and calf! Corbin led us out on the snorkeling and kayaking excursions. He took photos of everything we saw underwater and a few shots from kayaking and shared them with the group on Google Drive. The trip was a perfect combination of adventure and education - we learned a ton about the conservation efforts surrounding the coral reefs in the Keys, research on the dolphin population, and mangrove ecosystems. Our family of 5 did the snorkeling, kayaking, and dolphin spotting cruise.  Everyone had a blast.  Billy and Katie were kind, professional, and informative.  They provided water (that tasted good!) in reusable water bottles, an organic and vegetarian lunch, and snack.  We saw many different kinds of fish and a sting ray during our snorkeling portion. We kayaked through a mangrove island and learned all about the habitat and environment.  Billy kept in contact with other captains on the water and was able to find several dolphins that swam and played around our boat! We never felt rushed and their approach of taking only smaller groups ensured we were relaxed, comfortable, and able to ask any questions we wanted. We had a private charter with Rachel today and it was wonderful! She was so knowledgeable about the ecology, marine life and local history. We had a wonderful time out on the water, snorkeling and kayaking. Since it was a private charter we were even able to bring our little dog. Absolutely the BEST!!! This almost surpassed touching dolphins for my 7 year old! What a wonderful family experience!  We loved the whole excursion! The boat ride, snorkeling and kayaking!! And we did not have to share it with anyone else!!! Score!!! Later learned all groups are small. -Love it!!! Ang was our tour guide for the afternoon. She was really knowledgeable about the wildlife and great with out kids. ( they even picked riding in her kayak over ours! ) Snorkeling- found lots of lobsters (my favorite), rays, huge horseshoe crab, a barracuda, small crabs, and variety of colorful  really amazing sponge shapes too! We picked this trip based on reviews and I am so glad we did. We went kayaking through the mangroves saw lots of wildlife and learned all about the eco system in key west. Then had snacks provided on the boat and snorkeled. Ang, our guide, was absolutely amazing! Very personable and clearly hard working, wants you to have a great trip and learn a lot as well. We had a great trip for family of 4 with Captain Ange on the E.O. Wilson.  It was a quick and easy ride to a nice snorkel and kayak location. The personalized instruction and attention made us feel very safe taking the kids on their first snorkeling adventure.
