We had a great time, even though the water was pretty rough and there were quite a few jellyfish. Charles was extremely knowledgeable about the birds and different species of fish, and it was really nice that he got in the water with us to point out different marine life and share interesting facts. He also made sure to point out the jellyfish so we could avoid them, which was really thoughtful. We were lucky enough to see two different species of sharks, as well as a playful dolphin that came right up to the boat to say hi! We had such an amazing experience on this dolphin watching and snorkeling tour in Key West! Seeing dolphins in their natural habitat was incredible, and we even got to see sharks, which made the experience even more exciting. The crew members were extremely knowledgeable and insightful throughout the entire trip and made us feel comfortable and informed. A special shoutout to Charlie, who was especially amazing and insightful and truly made the experience even more memorable! Best Dolphin Watching & Snorkeling Tour in Key West. Extremely knowledgeable crew. Appreciated the marine biologist, Charlie, who shared a wealth of information. Saw lots of dolphins. The dolphin watch and guided snorkel with Honest Eco was hands down the highlight of our entire Key West trip! My husband and I visited this past week and had the best time.  Charlie, Captain Noah, and Captain-in-Training Jordan were all so friendly, knowledgeable, and so much fun to spend the day with.  Charlie is a marine biologist and it was so clear how passionate all of the crew members are about what they do and how much they truly care about the dolphins, wildlife, and ecosystems. The boat was super comfortable and intimate with only 8 guests on our trip which made the whole day feel relaxed and personal.  Charlie also did a great job catering the day to what we wanted to see more as a group. This was such a fun, memorable experience and definitely something we’ll be talking about for a long time! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 200/10 — An absolutely AMAZING experience! We did the snorkel, dolphin watch, and sandbar excursion with Honest Eco in Key West, and Kristin and Heather were absolutely incredible! I truly cannot say enough good things about them or this experience. Their knowledge of the Keys, the ecosystem, marine life, and the area in general was amazing. They didn’t just take us out on the water — they taught us so much along the way, and their passion for what they do made the entire experience even better. We also got VERY lucky with the wildlife! While snorkeling, we saw several sharks, several stingray, tons of beautiful reef fish,  3 gigantic grouper, lobster, conch, and starfish. 🦈🐠🦞⭐️ We even got to see a couple of dolphins hunting in the harbor, which was incredible! This excursion was part of my birthday trip, and Kristin and Heather truly helped make my birthday unforgettable. They were fun, knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely seemed just as excited about everything we saw as we were. If you’re in Key West and considering an excursion with Honest Eco, BOOK IT. My wife and I throughly had an amazing time together with our captain Kristen and our Guid Heather! We took out on the squid for a incredible trip out to explore the natural beauty of the Keys reef line and crystal clear waters! To top it off we managed to catch a view of a few dolphins 🐬 on the way back in! They took their time and were always very professional. I will also add that they don't overpack the boat so it's an intimate experience. Fifteen to eighteen people can seem like a lot. This is such an awesome company and experience!! We booked the Dolphin Watch/Reef Snorkel/Sandbar trip and it was so awesome we ended up booking another for our last day of the trip - the Sunset, Snorkel and Sandbar. We lucked out and had Capt Libbie and Charlie both times. They were such a professional but kind and knowledgeable crew!! Charlie is true biological nerd and was great at not only identifying everything on, above, and under the water, but he could talk at length about them all. That, combined with the small tour sizes really made it a different (and far better!) experience than the typical packed party boat excursions. The company also has awesome values! They've got reef safe mineral sunscreen on board. They have stopped to remove trash floating in the water. Amazing tour and fun afternoon for the entire family! We brought our daughters (8 & 12) out for the snorkel, sand bar, and dolphin search. It was a great time for everyone! From start to finish, the entire experience was absolutely amazing. We started with a dolphin watch, where we were lucky enough to see several beautiful pods of dolphins swimming and playing in the wild. It was such a special way to begin the trip! We then headed to two separate snorkeling spots on the reefs, and both were incredible. The crew made the experience feel very personal by taking the time to get in the water and snorkel alongside our small group. They were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the marine life and environment. The final stop was a beautiful sandbar surrounded by crystal-clear blue water. We were treated to fresh, beautifully cut fruit while relaxing in the water—it was the perfect, peaceful ending to an unforgettable day. 🍉🍍🌴 The small-group experience made such a difference. The crew was attentive, welcoming, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable throughout the entire trip. Fun experience. I went with a group of friends on a day trip to the Keys and can definitely say it was everyone’s highlight of the day. We got to see the dolphins and while snorkeling we saw sharks, stingrays, barracudas, and plenty of different types of fish. This was my first time snorkeling and it was an awesome experience! We got to see dolphins from the boat and then went on to a thousand year old coral reef where we found tons of fish and also a huge Turtle! It was an all girls crew with Captain Alexa and our Guide Claire who came out with us in the water and made sure we were comfortable and made it known that help was available if needed. We had $100 off through Air Bnb & that made it even better. A total of 8 people on our boat made a great experience and not to over crowded. WOW! I recently went through a life changing event, the hardest of my career. During this, I gained a new perspective on living my life to the fullest. Booking this tour as a person DEATHLY afraid of sharks was part of that. It was truly amazing. The reef snorkle was more beautiful than my imagination could envision, so many fish in a rainbow of colors, such lively coral! & I did have the opportunity to face my greatest fear, but with kind & friendly guides Sarah & Captain Noah. Sarah pointed out some peaceful nurse sharks in the reef, & I was able to stay calm in the water & see them for the vital part of the ecosystem that they were. When my panic attack set in back on the boat, Sarah gave me candied ginger for the nausea that I had & both members of the crew were so gracious as I took awhile to process my feelings. AMAZING!! This was by far the absolute best thing we did all week on our vacation. We stayed out in Deerfield Beach and were unsure about the 4 hour drive to key west, but it is absolutely worth the trip. This was by far the most amazing experience and totally unforgettable!! Smalls and Hadden were great and very knowledgeable. They made the trip that much better. If you’re questioning whether or not to take a hike and do this, DO IT! Don’t question yourself just get in the car and go you will NOT regret it!! Truly an amazing experience!!! I mean it’s a win win, the price is very reasonable, (actually cheaper than we had expected which is always nice), and it’s an experience you won’t ever forget!! We would definitely do it again! Our group was 4 adults and 3 kids, ages 9–11, and it was truly a highlight of our trip to Key West. Everyone had an amazing time. Captain Dan and First Mate Haddon were absolutely incredible. They were warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel easy and special from start to finish. They were so great with both the adults and the kids, and you could really tell how much they care about what they do. Their love for the ocean and their knowledge of the area made the trip feel much more personal and meaningful. We also really appreciated the fresh fruit, veggies, hummus, and filtered water. This was my best snorkeling experience ever and my first dolphin encounter. Libby and Charlie ( our hosts) were super knowledgeable about marine life and i felt like I was talking to a professor because I asked a million questions to further understanding of dolphins and they satisfied my curiosity. This tour is the real deal and we got see everything that they advertised and more. It got the point that I had enough of watching the dolphins and I was wishing to move on… and we did and then we got to see more kool fishes really close- Goliath groupers, sting rays, barracudas, and the infamous…. Easily the most well rounded tour in Key West! Captain Mo and Sara were the bomb.com!!!! I have done a load of snorkeling in my day and this was such a great, well rounded experience. Captain was so willing to explain her process and what she looks for when scouting for animals. Sara was so sweet and fun! Spotted eagle rays, dolphins, sting rays, barracuda, and (my personal favorite) a bonnet head shark!!! Sandbar was super fun! Next time, we’ll for sure bring some beverages and perhaps a lil float to enjoy. Would 100% do this exact tour again in the future! If you only have time or money for one boating excursion, absolutely pick this one. Small business, eco conscious, well rounded, and well run! Worth every cent Let me just start off my saying if you’re goal is to see as many sea creatures as possible and be out on the water for along time this is the tour to go on. There was only about 15 people in our group. Charlie and Libbie both were super knowledgeable and willing to answer everyone’s questions. We went to few different area. One area was to see dolphins. We ended up seeing so many. They came right up to the boat. Then we traveled over to an area to snorkel. Charlie got off the boat and led us around the reef. We were fortunate to snorkel with sting rays, massive grouper fish, multiple nurse sharks, and even a lemon shark. The last place we stopped at was a sand bar and we were able to spend some time of the boat swimming around in super shallow water. It was nice because it is the height of sargassum season rn so most of the beaches aren’t great and the smell can be overbearing. On the way back in we were able to see a turtle as well. It was truly an amazing time. Honest eco is one of the smaller tour companies in Key West. I’m all about sharing the love with the smaller local companies that are trying to thrive on the island and it is was worth every cent. Worth your time and money Key West adventure Sav and Smalls, our guide and captain, are personable and knowledgeable about our sea life. Smalls found a sea biscuit he shared with those on the sandbar. Sav passed around veges and hummus, fruit during the boating. I had not snorkeled before but was able to watch and breathe under water without leaking or fogging of mask. Waters were clear. Best day in Key West An incredible four hours on the beautiful Key West waters with two amazing crew. We saw over 20 dolphins and baby dolphins. The snorkel portion at an incredible reef included seeing a loggerhead turtle, shark and many other tropical fish. And the last stop at a beautiful sand bar was complete with Sav serving us fresh fruit while we relaxed on the sandbar. Don’t miss this tour. It was true to its HonestEco name. Absolutely stunning weather, warm water, dolphins, a cute sea turtle, so many crabs, fish: brightly colored coral… I could go on and on! Also Captain Smalls and Savanna were purely professional as well as warm and inviting! As a solo traveler I truly appreciated the photos that they offered to snap at all the different stages of this 4.5 hour trip. The boat was perfect with plenty of comfortable seats and shade. The captain and guide were super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The snacks on the boat were very nice. And the wildlife, OMG. We saw so many dolphin from the boat, they were just hanging out with us. And the snorkeling was even more amazing. So many fish, so much coral, and the water was beautiful. I loved the fact that boat wasn’t crammed! Sara was absolutely amazing sharing all her knowledge from the keys. The fruit and veggie tray they make up for you was amazing you have to try the hummus. I was little emotional we didn’t get to get close to a dolphin but we did at least encounter 1 I completely understand that his company don’t feed the dolphins or bother there habit I would much rather that then us bother them in there home. Snorkeling I was completely terrified at first but I got over my fears and DID IT!! Sara was amazing because I started to doubt myself little bit once out and about snorkeling but Sara could tell I needed help without asking she swam over to me and let me relax on a floaty thing and restored me how to use my snorkel without her I would have given up a lot sooner so from the bottom of my heart thank you for that. This was our second time booking with Hinwst Eco on our 2nd trip to Key West and again the experience did not disappoint. If you go to Key West you must book a trip with them. We had an amazing time. First the snorkeling is wonderful and the captain and first mate took excellent care of us. Made sure we were safe and had a pointed out fish and beat parts to look. Capt. Alexa with Mates Heather and Sarah led us on an amazing adventure kayaking the mangroves and snorkeling on the reef.  The ladies were so professional and knowledgeable about all that we did and saw.  I felt completely at ease on this trip. We saw so many fish, turtles, and birds.  There was ice cold water and wonderful fresh snacks on the trip. My husband and I are in our mid-60s and had no problem with kayaking or snorkeling. This was an absolutely PHENOMENAL tour and experience- Charlie and Jessie were incredible, they went positively above and beyond to give us a great experience, and their knowledge about the area and the wildlife is 15/10. I took the guided kayaking and snorkel tour - it was unlike (in a good way) any other water tour I've taken in Key West. Dan and Jackie were an outstanding crew, they kept it light, fun, and safe. The kayak tour amongst the mangroves (you actually paddle into them!) was super informative and interesting. The snorkeling portion was not at a dying reef (typical of most Key West  snorkeling trips), but at the Key West National Wildlife Refuge where Jackie pointed out live sponges, lobsters, and fish. While on the boat, we were served fresh pineapple, carrots, cucumbers, and delicious hummus. Honest Eco is genuinely concerned about the environment, they are a top notch operation.
